Finding Timo

With Only 1 attacking blank in his last 5 gameweeks, and playing for one of the best teams in the league, it almost seems nonsensical to even consider removing Timo Werner... but with premium assets performing elsewhere, and just an average of 5.2 points per game during this spell, that's exactly what I'm considering doing.
FIrstly, I feel I need to voice what will no doubt be an unpopular opinion, but when Chelsea signed Werner, I wasn't as enamoured with the signing as most was. Whenever I'd watched Werner in the past, I always seemed to catch him on an off-day. His record was obviously excellent, but I never saw it. Whenever he impressed, it was a game I missed, and whenever I tuned in, he was often non-existant.
This feeling has carried over into the premier league, and although he has had a few games in which hes impressed me, there's still an irrational dislike underlying.
And then when you see similarly price players such as Harry Kane, Son, and Bruno all performing to the levels they have so far this season, I can't help but feel I am missing out by holding on to Werner.... and this was even before THAT miss versus Leeds last week
When looking at Werners per game stats, it seems that he's due a major points haul. over his last 6 game weeks, Werner has had 7 big chances and created another 3. His expected Goal involvement over those 6 games is at 4.18 (for comparison, over the same gameweeks - Son's is 1.33 - but has scored 3 goals to Werners 2).
It's the conversion of those, and any other chances which are leading to the doubts over whether he warrants a place in my team. Werner is getting more touches in the box, than Harry Kane, but is only converting 14% of his shots, meaning Kane has also outscored Chelsea's front man.
How long can we continue put this down to bad luck opposed to bad finishing?
Especially when players like Son and Fernandes both get potential clean sheet points and an extra point for their goals by the virtue of being midfielders.
This week see Werner travel to face an Everton side who's defensive stats are on the decline. Fingers crossed it can be the weekend that he rediscovers his goalscoring form, as without him contributing, the Kane/Son/Fernandes points will continue to sting.
