GW11: 5-A-Side with Ryan_ms28 - (Football Chatbox)

With Az unable to capitalise on a brilliant return from Reece James, last week he had to settle for 5th position in the 5-a-side standings. This week, I invite Ryan_ms28 - (Football Chatbox) to take on the challenge.

Football Chatbox is a YouTube channel created by Ryan for his love of the sport and FPL. Together with a group of friends they have a mixture of experiences like top 100k, top 50k finishes, and various playing styles. They come together with regular video uploads, and live streams happening every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Ryan is currently sitting with an OR of 3,400, so it's clear that we should all be taking any advice we can get from him.

Below, Ryan selects his 5-a-side team, and gives us his reasoning for each pick.

Goalkeeper - Ramsdale

This is my slightly risky pick. I’m hoping for save points from Ramsdale as I expect Watford to take a few shots against Arsenal. After a double-digit haul in GW10, lets see if he can return similar numbers this week as well.

Defender – Reece James

Currently the highest scoring defender in the game and also got rested midweek in the champions league game against Malmo. I think he could be a great pick for the upcoming game against a Burnley team who concede most of their shots on from their left.

Midfielder – Son

Now that Conte is manager it immediately increases the appeal of spurs assets. However, Son was a player that has been showing the underlying numbers even under Nuno. I’m hoping a new manager bounce and a possibility of playing as a ST in a 352 formation under Conte leads to the possibility of a few returns against an Everton team that’s still missing quite a few players.

Midfielder - Salah

Even though West Ham have been defensively strong recently, a majority of West Hams Shots conceded have been through their left hand side, a similar trend to previous teams that Salah has hauled against. So I'm happy to trust the Egyptian again.

Forward – Vardy

His numbers have dropped recently, however Leeds are still defensively poor especially on set pieces and Leicester have the likes of Maddison and Tielemans to be able to whip that ball into the box. So I’m hoping for some returns from him.

As always, Ryans picks and the logic behind them look sound. Can he continue his impressive season so far and take the top spot from FPL_Poet?
