Is Luke a Shaw thing?

Despite my team screenshot last before the last GW showing Cancelo as captain, and Salah as vice captain. I changed my mind Saturday morning and went for Lucas Digne and cost myself getting Salah's points doubled after Cancelo fell victim of the much fabled Pep Roulette at the weekend.
Coupled with Bamford being my 3rd sub and not making it off the bench, and there was a sour taste left in my mouth, despite being fortunate enough to get Callum Wilson brought into my team with Cancelo and Stones both not featuring against Sheffield United.
On to GW 22, and despite Digne's failure, it's another left back that I'm bringing in, in the shape of Luke Shaw. At just £4.8m, and owned by just 2.9% of teams, Shaw has the potential to be a nice differential in place of Reece James, who is yet to feature since Thomas Tuchel took the reigns at Stamford Bridge.

Similar to my post about Joao Cancelo, Shaws stats suggest that he could have a bumper haul coming his way. With United having the joint 3rd tightest defence in terms of goals conceded over the last 6 games, and the next 4 games against Southampton, West Brom, Everton and Newcastle, there is the potential for clean sheets, but it is the attacking stats which have caught my eye.
Over the last 6 games Shaw ranks:
1st for Chances created amongst all defenders
2nd for Big chances created amongst all defenders
3rd for Crosses amongst all defenders
4th for Touches in box amongst all defenders
2nd for xA amongst all defenders
2nd for xGI amongst all defenders
Whilst these stats haven't yet resulted in a goal or assist over these 6 games, there's no doubting Shaw is critical to United's attack, and it would seem like it's only a matter of time to get the returns his play is seemingly deserving.
It's not all plain sailing though, and there is a risk of rotation with Alex Telles, but Shaw has started 5 of the last 6, and was brought on for Telles in the 1 game Telles started ahead of him (Uniteds only defeat in 14 games).
For just £4.m though, and replacing a player that is seemingly not set to feature any time soon, Shaws potential benefits outweigh the risks involved, and I'm bringing him in.
I'll still have a strong bench in case he does fall foul of rotation, which seems more important than ever this season.
In terms of my line up this week, I'm looking at playing 4-4-2, with the Captains armband falling on Mo Salah, who is hopefully back to form after his double against West Ham on Sunday.
